Today, we had a group out from Cherokee Hills Christian church. They had camp last week where Tim, Joe, and Jeff went out to speak about what’s going on here. Last night, a group came out for our weekly intercessory prayer. Today, they came out for the workday along with Life church.
Next Friday evening, on June 19th, the youth will be leading the session starting at 7pm, so please come out for a time of prayer and worship!
Had a chance to eat and play out on our lawn today as a family in celebration.
Our latest count of warriors is up to 25 including our newest interns, Tom & Jeff. They were able to move in and join us on Tuesday night before they officially start their program on Monday.
What a complete blessing it was for us to have Skip & Buzzy speak words of life and encouragement! They are still the pioneers of our day, empowering and equipping disciples all over the world. AND they have fun doing it! The timing of the message couldn’t have been more perfect & applicable as we continue to live out truth.
Praises for the inspection going well as we are putting in A/C Units in the rooms and also putting in new windows. Hope to see you at this upcoming Urban Celebration as we gather followed by eating, playing, and hanging out on the lawn!
…among other things have been freely given to us. Praise God for the continued blessings! Another notable item that was given was a brand new ping-pong table.
On top of the fact that we pick up trash pretty regularly, we typically find the nearby trash cans overflowing. It’s not that people aren’t using them. Hopefully this is just another small step in beautifying our neighborhood!
This is our first round of urban gardening that we are hoping to use to inspire as a model for urban renewal and transformation. In a sense, it’s also a way for us to communicate to those who are wanting to feed the homeless that we are wanting to show them a greater model. Our heart is to teach them to fish rather than to fish.
We want to begin an urban gardening community as we look for ways to bring about urban renewal and community development…

This week brought in a lot of people from different groups and even outside of OKC. It was exciting to have many different youth groups come out!
Here’s a breakdown of all the people represented– each time, there are people who are astonished by all the groups coming out.
It was a great week. We are thankful for all the youth and leaders who came out to serve what God is doing here. Amazing stuff!

Major work was done today as hundreds of workers showed. Our workday extended longer than usual, but the visible change of the work of our hands was very obvious today fully welcoming the spring season.
Many picked up trash along the freeway where much trash had been piling up while others focused on the tree planting/garden work in our parking area. We also got the opportunity to paint a local business nearby.
